Virtual Gas Pipeline

Potential gas production sites may not be located near a utility pipeline or one that has sufficient capacity to handle all season production capacity of gas output. In such cases we use large tube trailers to transfer upgraded bio-methane (RNG) gas referenced in the industry as a ‘virtual’ gas pipeline.

These trailers allow for transport of high-pressure gas (2600 psi) where compression is necessary to move large gas volumes economically. We can deliver the RNG fuel to an injection point of our ownership or other third party owned injection points. As we have a CNG/RNG fuelling station we can market customer’s gas through our own station/s or to fuel private fleets having their own dedicated station.

Within our RGE business activity, we use our trailers to supply the following:
Stranded natural gas pipeline customers green gas for seasonal grain drying
Greenhouse heating
Other rural commercial/industrial business energy needs
Transport firms wishing to capitalize on lower vehicle fuel & operational costs for their fleets
Change to RNG fuel to implement their own corporate decarbonization goals
As a green energy fuel supplier, RGE offers renewable RNG priced competitive to traditional CNG by monetizing low carbon content fuel credits available under a newly enacted federal Canadian Fuel Regulation.
